Multidose Delivery

Multidose delivery is appropriate for products requiring multiple use over extended periods (e.g. nasal steroids). A wide variety of technologies are available for multidose delivery ranging from simple spray bottles such as employed by OTC decongestant products to bottle and pump systems such as employed by numerous Rx nasal products. Traditionally these systems have relied on preservatives such as benzalkonium chloride in the formulation, however ITI is working with its suppliers on preservative free systems. In addition, ITI has proprietary technology in the area of multidose system which can offer many of the advantages of unit dose technology in products which require more than one dosing event.
